Why do I vote??
Maybe it's naive to think that my one little vote can change things. Maybe my simple views can't compare to the sohpisticated ideas of others. Maybe my thoughts on wanting peace in this land are a little improbable. But even so.... I vote!
I vote to make a difference.
I vote because of my children.
I vote because it is a privilige
I vote because
WE ARE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES,
and in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
And Because of that Patriotic right that we have
I VOTE!
I want to have a say in the direction this country goes. I want to have a say in the way my children will be taught by this country.
Today I will vote for one of the most consequential propostitions on the ballot.
Today I will vote for one of the most consequential propostitions on the ballot.
PROP 8
-Only Marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California.
I will vote YES because of my family and freedom. The effects of this vote will be far-reaching and long lasting.
Tomorrow will be a new day. With new issues, but TODAY
I VOTE!

Thanks Jacki! This was beautiful! thanks for the reminder why we do what we do. I told mom I didn't really care about the election, but because I was an American with rights and thoughts I had a duty to vote. And I did.
And a really hot guy who smelled amazing hit on me. GO me.
