SPRING TIME BEACH PARTY!!

I love the beach in the spring time.  The air is so refreshing the sun feels soooooo good.  A little cool, but soakin up the sun after a long winter hiatus, just puts my body right back into sync.  One thing I have always loved about living here is the proximity to the beach and the mountains.  Just a short drive and you could surf in the morning and spring ski in evening.  Right now is the PERFECT weather for both.  The mountains are filled with t-shirt clad snowboarders and the beaches are filled with sweatshirts over swimsuit sun bunnies!! 

I LOVE IT!

We met up at the beach down by Coronado with our only family left in this paradise, Jessica and Miah!  WE truly love having them so close and will be so sad when they move.  

Carly gets so excited when we get to see baby Boston.  Jessica's brother was visiting so we got to meet his daughter Alexis.  The three had so much fun playing.  

We got to fly kites and play in the tide pools. 

 

Jessica and Courtney brought a friend to play with too. 

 (Of course you know teenage girls can't do anything with out friends :o)

And they loved hanging out and getting sunburned.

We went back to Jess and Miah's house and had the most amazing Gourmet Lasagna Miah made.  His friend has a blog called the male martha.

Then we hung out in his theater room and enjoyed being together. 

Now Spring break is over and back to alarm clocks, homework, practices, and life.
