First stop along the way, Hurricane Point. It was so windy and so cold, it felt like you were going to be blown right off the cliff. But it was a spectacular view.
Once we got into Monterey we walked along Fishermans Warf. There was a little meuseum
We did the total touristy thing, and shopped a little, and and looked at all the little stores, Lots of Fresh Clam Chowder samples. At the end of the warf we watched little seals and otters swimming in the water.
We ate at a restaurant right on the wter, we could see all the kyacks out in the bay. It was a fun place to eat and "people watch
Heading back home, we stopped by a beautiful beach. It looked like nice soft sand, but it was actually tiny sand colored pepples, that were so round. It was so hard to walk in.
The sign basically said Danger! Do not swim at this beach. People have died!
BUUUT of course Courtney got a little brave... Crazy girl!
Monterey was so nice. It was a great little day trip!

We've eaten at that same fish place right on the water. Gosh, Lunden and Brennen were only 4! It's so pretty up there. I loved taking the long drive along the coast through pebble beach. The deer, the cool trees, shops.
Glad you guys had so much fun!!
